Several have asked about the funeral services for Curt so I will write on here. The prayer service will be Friday evening @ 6:30 & funeral @ 10:30 Saturday A.M. both at the Assembly of God church in Sisseton, SD located on Highway 10. Others have asked for and adress & that
will be: 308 W Oak #5 Sisseton, SD 57262. I hope to get there on Thursday if all goes as planned.
I know God has everything under control and I will trust him but this is not at all easy--to think I can never even touch him as long as I live. Hard to get my mind around that.

Linda, Unfortunately, I cannot attend the funeral for my friend and brother in Christ, Curt. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Is there any place one can remember Curt's memory with a donation in lieu of flowers? Blessings and love, John Ng
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts & prayers & we understand that you can't be there. In lieu of flowers, some have given to Long Evangelistic Ministries so that is one option but anything is okay of course. Linda Long 308 W Oak #5 is an address cards can be sent to. I fly out for SD in a.m. so am praying for a safe flight & no blizzard conditions for the weekend. Other kids are flying there too so appreciate all your prayers. Thanks Look forward to seeing you Lee & I'll call you tonight yet. Love you
Linda - The journey you are on now is gut wrenching. The grieving process is huge and painful!!! But...very important. In Jesus day they hired mourners to cry with you. WE cry with you and your sons. We are here to support you. WE love you and though we can't be at the funeral in person please know our hearts are there with you. Love & prayers always, Jeff & Shirley
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThis is Roger and Cathy's daughter, Valerie. I am so sad for you and your family and you are in our thoughts and prayers now and for the coming months. You and Curt and Greg and Grayson (and later Grady!) were such a big part of my childhood. I often think of you all singing togethe and those summers at Montana camp. And how Greg got the scar on his chin... :) I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and send you love. Give all your boys hugs from us.
Valerie, Paul and Willem Von Destinon
