They did the 5th radiation treatment yesterday & also drained over a quart of fluid from his lung. I had hoped that that would allow them to turn down his oxygen but hasn't so far. They have him on 10 liters to keep him @ 92.

Grayson & family went back to Mobile yesterday but were able to bring the kids in before they left so that was great.

This a.m. Curt swallowed pills, got one stuck & began to fade out. The nurse looked at the monitor & it straight-lined & the room was filled with nurses etc. They called code blue. That was about 9:00 a.m. That has happened to him at different times while eating & he always comes out of it & he did again this time-thankfully. What that did was cause them to do some testing on his swallowing process which they have begun & will do more in depth on Mon.

Thankful for good friends who have come to be with us, Esther will be here some days. We are so thankful for our family & friends. We will believe the report of the Lord which is always GOOD. His ways are past finding out!

  2. I've learned from Janna and Greg that we don't always understand why things happen but its the times when we don't that God is the closest too us. I know that he is there with you and the Curt will be fine. God is in control after all. Much love and many blessings and prayers. (Ruth Ann)

  3. Dear Friends Curt and Linda - My heart is heavy knowing that you are going through such a deep valley but my heart is light when I call upon the Lord for you and He reminds me that He conquered sickness and disease, and that you are His and you... are 'dwelling in the shadow of the Almighty'!

    Much love, Jeff & Shirley
